General Instructions

Interested Applicants are advised to Read "General Instructions" and "Application Process" carefully, before starting the Online Admission Process.

  • Go through the "Available Programme", to know about your required Programme with details like Minimum Eligibility, Fees, Minimum and Maximum Duration.
  • Admission Fees needs to be paid with this Online Admission Process through three different ways
    • Demand Draft: Make a Demand Draft of Fee Amount in favour of "OSOU" payable at "Sambalpur" and send it to below given address along with printout of the admission form.
    • Bank Challan: Make payment through PNB Bank Challan in following process
      • Register yourself to the OSOU Online Admission System. 
      • Login using your registered Email id and Password
      • Download the registration slip from "Download Registration Slip" link
      • Download the Bank Challan [CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD PNB BANK CHALLAN]
      • Fillup the required information in the bank challan along with the Registration No.  of OSOU Online Admission System
      • Deposit the Bank Challan with Fee amount in any PNB Branch
    • Online Payment: Online payment using debit card, credit card, net banking etc. CLICK HERE FOR THE PROCEDURE TO PAY ONLINE
  • Before starting the online process (filling up application form) be ready with scanned copy of following list of documents
    • Photograph [in JPG format of size 200 × 250 px in dimension] Sample PhotoSample Photo WIDTH: 200 PX
      HEIGHT: 250 PX
      FORMAT: JPG
    • Signature [in JPG format of size 200 × 40 px in dimension] Sample SignatureSample Signature WIDTH: 200 PX

    • Payment Proof (for payment through DD and Challan)
      • If DD: Scan copy of DD [in JPG or PDF with size less than 300KB]
      • If Bank Challan: Scan copy of PNB Bank Challan Institute Copy [in JPG or PDF with size less than 300KB]
    • Certificates of Educational Qualifications [in JPG or PDF with size less than 300KB each]
    • Category Certificate if any (for ST/SC/OBC Non-Creamy) [in JPG or PDF with size less than 300KB]
    • PwD (Person with Disability) Certificate if any [in JPG or PDF with size less than 300KB]

After final submission take printout of your form with "Print Application Form" option.
Print-out of the online admission application form with all supporting documents should be sent by registered/speed post to the following address:

Please super-scribe "Admission application for [NAME OF PROGRAMME with CODE]" e.g. "Admission Application for Diploma in Computer Application (DCA)" on the top of the envelope.

    • If DD: Send the DD in original.
    • If Bank Challan: PNB Bank Challan Institute Copy.
    • If Online Payment: Online Payment Receipt.

    • Certificates of Educational Qualifications
    • Category Certificate if any
    • PwD (Person with Disability) Certificate if any

Application Process

Read "General Instructions" and "Application Process" Carefully, before starting the Online Admission Process.

  1. If you are a first time applicant you are advised to click on the button "NEW REGISTRATION" and fill the required registration details. Existing Applicant will start from sno. 3
  2. As all communications will be sent to your email id and mobile no., hence provide your current Email ID and Cell Phone Number.
  3. Login using your registered Email ID and Password
  4. To keep the registration proof click on "Download Registration Slip"
  5. To Start Application process, click on "Proceed to Apply"
  6. Application is to be Submitted in five Steps
    1. Personal Information:  Fillup your Personal Information required in the application form and Click on "Save & Continue" to proceed to next Step
    2. Academic Information: Fillup your Academic records. In case you want to add more records then, click on "Add Another Row".
    3. Document Upload: Upload your Photo, Signature, Qualification Proof and other certificates like PwD, Category if any. [The format and size of the photo, signature and certificates are given in "General Instructions"]
    4. Payment Information: Select your convenient Payment mode, fill the details and upload respective documents.
    5. Edit or Submit Form: Your complete filled in form will appear in this step. You are supposed to review your inputs. If required edit and if you are not sure at any point, you can keep the form for later review by clicking on the "Save as Draft" button. If you are sure with your inputs, you can click on "Save & Submit" button for final submission of the form. You need to verify your forms thoroughly before final submission. Because after final submission you can't edit your form any more.
  7. After final submit take printout of your form with "Print Application Form" option and send the application form along with following documents to the given address
    • Payment Proof
      • If DD: Send the DD
      • If Bank Challan: PNB Bank Challan Institute Copy
      • If Online Payment: Online Payment Receipt
    • Photo copy of
      • Certificates of Educational Qualifications
      • Category Certificate if any
      • PwD (Person with Disability) Certificate if any
